Writing and Filming for Digital Media
Digital media, the Internet and the rapidly growing social networking sites have opened up new arenas for drama. The Royal Television Society Midlands Centre are proud to present Writing and Filming for Digital Media – a free event for anyone who is keen to hear about the differences between writing and making drama for television and new media.
Speakers are Nick Jones and Nellie McQuinn from Grass Roots Media. They will also focus on creating entertainment for online social networking channels using their project The London Affair as their case study.
Event producer and RTS Mids Centre Vice Chair Dorothy Hobson said: “The event will be a fascinating session which looks at new media and the exciting work which is being done by young producers.”
The event on Wednesday, 11th February, will be held at BBC Mailbox. It starts exactly at 7pm.
