Kate Moon Management
Kate Moon began her voice agency Speakeasy in 1987 when she was still at Radio 4 and Channel 4. Following a conversation with a producer who said to her, in all seriousness, that women’s voices were only really for films on “gynaecology, how to be a Mummy and wash day”. She felt he and many of his ilk needed educating.
From there it was but a short jump to representing presenters under the umbrella of Speakeasy (now under Kate Moon Management) to find and develop talent, place that talent and again – open producer’s eyes to the talent that is out there.
As an agent, she is excited about the talent she represents, and hopes to enthuse producers to feel likewise – with varying degrees of success!
Kate will be a panellist on RTS Futures’ How to be a Presenter event on Wednesday, 30 September at Fazeley Studios, Digbeth, Birmingham. For more information and to get your ticket, click here.
