The speakers were: Big Brother winner Kate Lawler, DJ on Kerrang Radio; Alison Hammond, roving reporter on This Morning; Marverine Cole, Sky News; agent Kate Moon of Kate Moon Management; and Kester Demmar, assistant Editor, BBC East Midlands News. The session was chaired by Heart FM Breakfast Show presenter Ed James and produced by Mars Elkins.

Moon warned hopefuls that broadcasters nervous about taking risks were tending to cast the same established names on more and more programmes.
